Taller de Aprendizaje en Línea Para Padres y Adolescentes

To continue supporting families in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Parent and Teen Workshops will be offered online. Workshop is Free and open to the public. For workshop guidelines, click on Forms and Fliers at the bottom of the page.

 

Para continuar apoyando a las familias de la comunidad durante la pandemia de COVID-19, los talleres para Padres y Adolescentes se ofrecerán en línea. El taller es Gratuito y abierto al público. CLASSROOM GUIDELINES

  • Parents and students must be present for the entire workshop for the student to receive credit for attendance.

  • An electronic device will be needed for the parent and student to access the workshop.

  • A Certificate of Completion will be emailed to students. The school administrator will be notified of the student’s completion of the workshop.

Parent & Teen Anger Management Workshop

Taller de la Ira Para Padres y Adolescentes

The Parent/Teen Anger Management provides strategies and resources for parents and teens to have more effective ways of communication and positive relationships. It also educates teens on how to address destructive behavior, stress, and anxiety due to school and peer pressure, and many other issues that affect and disrupt teens’ life.

This class is not appropriate for students with habitual violent behavior. The workshop includes the following topics: anger triggers, family communication, anger management techniques, and conflict resolution.

Parent & Teen Drug, Alcohol, and Vaping Workshop

Taller de Droga, Alcohol y Vaping Para Padres y Adolescentes

This workshop has been designed to educate and provide techniques and resources for parents and their teens to learn about the prevention and consequences of illicit substances, and to develop a positive parent/teen relationship. We work in collaboration with the school district, the Concord Police Department, TUPE Program of CCCOE, the Center of Human Development, NAMI, and Monument Crisis, to provide families with the most current information and resources available in the community.

Workshop topics include the physiology of drug and alcohol use, laws, consequences and family communication, and relationships.
