Parent & Teen Classes
Parent & Teen Learning Workshops - FREE!
Registration is required before attending workshops. Parents must register online and students will register in class. Please bring the student referral form, if the student has one.
Parents and students must be present for the entire workshop for the student to receive a certificate of completion at the end of the workshop. If the student has a referral form from the school, the administrator will be notified of the student’s completion of the workshop.
Parent & Teen Anger Management Workshop
The Parent/Teen Anger Management provides strategies and resources for parents and teens to have more effective ways of communication and positive relationships. It also educates teens on how to address destructive behavior, stress, and anxiety due to school and peer pressure, and many other issues that affect and disrupt teens’ life.
This class is not appropriate for students with habitual violent behavior. The workshop includes the following topics: anger triggers, family communication, anger management techniques, and conflict resolution.
