Project SEARCH

Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) is pleased to announce the launch of Project SEARCH, a partnership with the Department of Rehabilitation, the Regional Center of the East Bay, the Contra Costa ARC, and the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Walnut Creek. This total workplace immersion training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities provides a nine-month paid internship onsite at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Walnut Creek. Interns participate in three internship positions gaining competitive and marketable skills with the support of an instructor and job coaches. Congratulations and good luck to our first six interns!
